Chinesischer Schwertkampf

Taijijian (simplified Chinese: 太极剑; traditional Chinese: 太極劍; pinyin: tàijíjiàn; lit. taiji sword) is a straight double-edged sword used in training the Chinese martial art of tai chi. The straight sword, sometimes with a tassel and sometimes without, is used in traditional Tai Chi schools to condition the upper body and for combat training. The various family schools have different warm-up exercises, forms and fencing exercises for training with the jian. Our style refers to the 32 sections of the Taiji sword.Taijijian and Taijiquan are martial arts that no longer deal with the physical form of violence. The training consists of creating imbalance in oneself through the combat simulations of an intro perspective, so that the person can find his inner balance again.meeting point: Enzauenpark (opposite Kaufland) in good weather, in bad weather Güterstraße 40

"Chinesischer Schwertkampf" is organized on the occasion of the Ornamenta 2024 Lust Programme, corresponding to the theme Inhalatorium. All Ornamenta Lust programmes are mainly German spoken but you are welcome to join.
