Geo writing is the practice of calligraphy on the floor with a sponge brush dipped in water. This comfortable and environmentally friendly form of calligraphy combines physical exercise and the cultivation of emotions and, more importantly, promotes the popularity of the art of calligraphy and the improvement of the practitioner's calligraphic level. That is, the hands, legs, waist, brain, interaction, poetry and calligraphy are connected. Geo script calligraphy also saves resources by eliminating the need for paper and ink, which avoids waste and pollution.

"Wasser Kalligraphie / 地书 / Geo Schrift" is organized on the occasion of the Ornamenta 2024 Lust Programme, corresponding to the theme Inhalatorium. All Ornamenta Lust programmes are mainly German spoken but you are welcome to join.
