Orchard meadows are an essential habitat for a wide range of wild herbaceous plants. Many insects forage here, such as wild bees and butterflies. Native plants are popular for their nutritional value and flavour. What used to be everyday items are now luxuries. The event “Lust auf summende und blühende Wiesen" (Lusting for Humming and Blooming Fields) is organised on the occasion of the Lust Programme of ORNAMENTA 2024, corresponding to the theme ‘Zum Eros’. All Ornamenta Lust programmes are mainly German spoken but you are welcome to join.
