As a homage to the early days of family Sunday outings away from daily chores and deep into idyllic green fields, this excursion activity in the Pforzheim Gallery will bring a new perspective: historical postcards, photography, and artifacts meet contemporary artists’ works. We invite you to join us in reminiscing about those good old days of outings. At the same time, we aim to take a critical look at the idealization of the Black Forest and nature.
The exhibition “Frischluftkultur – Raus ins Grüne” is organized on the occasion of the Ornamenta 2024 Lust Programme, corresponding to the theme Inhalatorium. All Ornamenta Lust programmes are mainly German spoken but you are welcome to join.
