As part of a new thematic exhibition at the Faust-Museum Knittlingen, historian Helmut Oberst will hold a lecture on the ancient cult of Dionysus, the Greek god of fertility, and its connection to our modern lives, among others referencing Rock’n’Roll music.
The lecture “Dionysos: Loved, Worshipped - Dangerous?” is organised on the occasion of the Lust Programme of ORNAMENTA 2024, corresponding to the theme ‘Zum Eros’. All Ornamenta Lust programmes are mainly German spoken but you are welcome to join.
