Since 2003, the Gerbersau Summer of Reading has been a cultural highlight with its musically framed readings from the oeuvre of Hermann Hesse. This year, visitors can once again be inspired by a symbiosis of music and words. With six readings and a literary lecture taking place on Friday evenings from July 5 to August 9 at 19:30 at different venues, the 20th Gerbersauer Lesesommer focuses on Hesse's life in Calw from schoolboy to poet.
„20. Gerbersauer Lesesommer” is organized on the occasion of the Ornamenta 2024 Lust Programme, corresponding to the theme Zum Eros. All Ornamenta Lust programmes are mainly German spoken but you are welcome to join.
